Our sleeve for this year’s Secret 7" in support of the charity War Child is The Maccabees—No Kind Words.

“Broken his union, broken from tradition, broken his vision of the future…”, broken sleeve design… An anagram of the title. Chopped up, rearranged, remade to reflect both the sentiment of the song and the secretive format of the Secret 7" auction.

Hand typeset wood type, letterpress printed and then collaged. An original, unbroken, print was also included.

Printed in silver and purple on hand-inked GF Smith Colorplan Amethyst 540gsm.
